I wanted to update everyone on the new adventure in our lives. We were just approved to become U.S. Missionaries to Alaska through the Assemblies of God U.S. Missions Department. This is a big step in the right direction. For several years now, we have been feeling as a family that God was calling and directing us to Alaska. This approval is a huge answer to prayer that will afford us the platform and covering we need to take us there. We are extremely excited about this next season of life and ministry! We now will begin traveling to meet with individuals, churches and businesses that choose to partner with us in prayer and also in monthly financial support. I am excited about the team that God has lined up. Once we raise 100% of our budget, then we will be heading to Alaska! Please keep our family in prayer as everything unfolds, and I will keep you posted on the exciting details along the way!
Just a few thoughts about the power of prayer and the provision of God! This past week, my wife and I were on a road trip to the Assemblies of God National Office in Springfield, MO. Round trip, we put 1900 miles on our car. As we have always done, we prayed prior to leaving on the way out there and again on the way back. We made it safely both ways, not to mention all the travel around town while we were there. We returned home, and I was looking over the car just to find that the front driver tire was split almost all the way around with threads showing! I came in the house and said "Praise God for His Provision!!!" The picture does not do it justice, but for those of you who know that a tire is nothing more than a thick balloon, the fact that it split without busting is a miracle of God! Especially considering the way I was rolling through the mountains on the way home. For those that needed a reminder that God still answers prayers, my life is a beacon of truth shouting yes! Praise God for His faithfulness!!!

  1. One more thing, I pulled the car underneath the car port to put the spare tire on, and while I was going to get the floor jack from my building, the tire began going flat! Amazing! (Phillip)
